Located on the outskirts of Velké Bílovice, the largest Czech wine making area, Penzion U Školy guest house offers you a comfortable place for your family holiday or business meeting.
Nové Mlýny is a complex of three water-reservoirs under Pálava Hills (upper Mušovská, middle Věstonická, lower Novomlýnská) on the river Dyje. During the 1970s, the largest bottomland landscape in Central Europe was changed drastically by water authorities to avoid yearly floods and extend agriculture activity.
The upper reservoir serves for recreational purposes and irrigation. The middle reservoir with artificial islands for bird’s nesting is protectes as a nature reserve. A surviving Roman-Gothic church of St. Linhart reminds us of the flooded Mušov village. The lower reservoir is a place of recreation, irrigation and electricity production.
Nové Mlýny is a popular place among water and boat lovers, fishermen and windsurfers. The surroundings are suitable for walking and cycling.
